SEGV investigations with -S multi-stream flags | XRootD server v5.5.4 seems to support multiple streams well with the Ceph plugin. Testing with 1, 2, 4, 8 and 15 streams hasn’t produced the SEGV or any other problems (so far). Unfortunately, there isn’t significant scaling of transfer rates using multiple streams, as the server processes the streams sequentially and synchronously (not concurrently or asynchronously).
