XRootD Aquilon Personalities and features

A number of personalities and features in aquiline have been created as the development of XRootD (and XrdCeph) has continued, including the rollout of webdav. A brief summary of the personalities / features are given below:

ceph-gw-echo

The original personality with a (memory cache) proxy and ceph server instance.
No bufferedIO is applied.

ceph-webdav-gw-echo

More correctly, this should really have been called ceph-buffered-gw-echo (or similar), as it is configured with the bufferedIO version of XrdCeph, but still has the proxy and ceph instances.

It is used on the xrootd aliased hosts (hence the naming confusion).

ceph-unified-gw-echo

This is the currently latest (and not yet deployed) version of the configuration that is in testing on the webdav aliased hosts. It combines the proxy and ceph instances into a single instance, and removes any memory caching.

Currently, this does not support root:// protocol TPC transfers, but this should be available soon by adding in an additional xrootd-tpc specific xrootd instance.

ceph-clustered-gw-echo

A future implementation and is in development. This will add the CMSd clustered management and load balancing on top of a unified configuration.
