Deletions | Trying to adapt code from the “rados.cc” cli tool, method “clean_up” in ObjBencher, hasn’t proved productive yet. Neither have I been able to pull out the core “removal loop” from this code, as there are lots of dependencies on other Ceph classes. Will continue with this later. Meanwhile. trying the naive approach of running a simple RADOS client on the command line, iterating over a list of files, and running this on multiple gateway nodes. Plan to use the “at” command to synchronise the startup of these instances, unless there are other suggestions. Aim is to see maximum deletion rates achievable at the low level. |
