Gateways and WNs:
- Current status and upcoming changes

Close wait observed issues, leading to crash or manual restarts. Some failures on CMS sam test, LHCb has identified there are some file corruptions, and lost files. ‘race condition’ between a delete and problematic uploads.

ATLAS saw some issues. Only appears to have affected WebDAV transfers.

“server refused to connect” messages in the logs.

Stopped around midnight Sunday.

 

 

Compilation issues with XrdCeph and rocky 8 with 5.6+

 

Problems compiling XrdCeph alongside core xrootd (warning message → termination of compilation)

With standalone XrdCeph crashes

compilations appear to be be reporting as the GitHub version.

 

Gateway Auth failures

Auto-restarting on this failure mode is enable. Still observing occasional cases.
